Getting Started as an OtterSpots Vendor
Registration Process
Vendors can self-register through the OtterSpots dashboard. Follow these steps:
Step 1 — Create an Account
- Go to app.otterspots.com
- Click Sign Up and enter your name, email, and password
- Check your email and click the Verify Email link
Step 2 — Create a Vendor Account
After logging in for the first time, you'll be asked to:
- Enter your business name
- Complete your vendor profile information
Step 3 — Review & Approval
Once your account is created, the OtterSpots team will review your application:
- Review takes 1–3 business days
- You'll receive an email when your account is approved
- Once approved, you can start adding locations and units

You can view your account status in the Dashboard. Accounts that haven't been approved cannot receive bookings.
Step 4 — Add Your Property
Once approved:
- Go to Locations → Add New Location
- Add zones and units to the location
- Set pricing, amenities, and photos
- Activate the unit to start receiving bookings
Requirements to Become a Vendor
- Property must be located in Malaysia
- Valid operating permits (SSM / business license where applicable)
- High-quality photos for each unit (minimum 5 photos)
- Responsive to guest enquiries
Log In to Dashboard
The vendor dashboard can be accessed at app.otterspots.com.
Forgot Password
- Click Forgot Password on the login page
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a password reset link
- Follow the instructions to set a new password
Dashboard Navigation
After logging in, you'll see a sidebar with the following tabs:

Complete your profile and photos before activating units. Properties with high-quality photos receive more bookings.
